At around 12pm GMT today we began to experience access issues with many of our products. Most have now returned to normal service. We are continuing to investigate.

This crisis made Google service offline for less than an hour but it reminded the dependency of millions of people using Google services. Though this rare outage was for less than an hour but it unnerved many businesses using Google cloud and they are now looking to know the exact reason along with assurances that it shall not get repeated again. In the meanwhile, Twitter users found the perfect opportunity to trend #googledown with some hilarious memes on it.
Today, at 3.47AM PT Google experienced an authentication system outage for approximately 45 minutes due to an internal storage quota issue. This was resolved at 4:32AM PT, and all services are now restored.

According to news agency ANI, YouTube said “We are aware that many of you are having issues accessing YouTube right now – our team is aware and looking into it. We’ll update you here as soon as we have more news: Team YouTube”.
Last year in June 2019, there was a problem with some of Google’s server which caused difficulty for many US users. It happened because of sever settings in a region that was supposed to be applied on few machines but it was applied to many more machines.
